Strawberry Dream Pie

Once again we have a recipe that doesn't require an oven for baking. This delicious pie is light and refreshing. It's a great summer-time dessert. But, there's nothing stopping you from making it all year round.

Ingredients

1 9"	pie crust, BAKED
1 box (16oz)	strawberries, frozen
1 pint	vanilla ice cream
1 pkg (6oz)	strawberry gelatin
sweetened	whipped cream

Thaw strawberries.
Drain strawberries and add enough hot water to the liquid from the strawberries to make 1 1/2 cups liquid.
Add gelatin to the liquid from the strawberries.
Stir over low heat until dissolved.
Lower heat and add ice cream.
Stir until melted.

Chill.

Before mixture sets fully, fold in strawberries.

Pour into pie crust.

Chill.

Top with whipped cream.
