Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars



Do you remember that Reese's Peanut Butter Cup commercial? The one where everyone is complaining, "You got CHOCOLATE on my PEANUT BUTTER! YOU got PEANUT BUTTER on my CHOCOLATE!"?

Well, there is no better combination than chocolate and peanut butter. This recipe combines them well together. And then, adds a hint of coconut for an exotic taste.

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
3/4 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup flaked coconut
2 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Custom Search

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease 9"x13" baking pan.

Melt butter and peanut butter.
Add sugar, graham cracker crumbs, nuts and coconut.

Press into greased 9x13 pan.
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.

Sprinkle chocolate morsels over baked crumb mixture and
Return to oven for 1 minute to bake until the chocolate has melted.

Remove from oven and spread chocolate evenly.
Cool and cut.

Makes 40 bars.
