Christmas Crescent Cookies
If you don't have the time OR the desire to get out the rolling pin and cookies cutters, but, you still want some delicious cookies for Christmas, this is the recipe for you. It uses just a few ingredients and is easy to prepare. And, you don't have to worry about getting out the cookie cutters.

Ingredients
| 1 cup | butter, softened |
| 5 Tbsp | sugar |
| 2 tsp | vanilla extract |
| 1 Tbsp | water |
| 2 cups | flour |
| 1/2 tsp | salt |
| 2 cups | walnuts, chopped |
| confectioners | ' sugar to sprinkle |
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
In mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar vanilla and water.
Mix in flour and salt.
Add nuts and mix thoroughly.
Take teaspoon-sized pieces of dough and form into crescent shapes.
Place on cookie sheet.
Bake at 325 for about 20 minutes.
While the cookies are still warm, sprinkle them with confectioners' sugar.
Makes about 4 dozen.
