Cracked Whole Wheat Bread
Anytime you use yeast you're going to have to prepare for letting the dough rise. This is one of those recipes. But, it's still pretty easy if you want a great home-made fresh tasting bread.

Ingredients
| 1/3 cup | butter, melted |
| 2 1/4 cup | warm water 110 degree |
| 2 pkg | yeast |
| 1 Tbsp | salt |
| 3 Tbsp | sugar |
| 3/4 cup | dry milk |
| 3 cups | whole wheat flour |
| 2 cups | white flour |
| 1/3 cup | molasses |
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Grease 2 9"x5"x3" pans.
Combine butter and water.
Add yeast to butter mixture and let dissolve.
Add salt, sugar, dry milk, whole wheat flour, white flour and molasses.
Knead the dough until it is smooth, using more white flour as needed, so
it's not too wet.
Let dough double in size.
Punch down and shape into loaves.
Place in greased 9x5x3 pans.
Let double in size, then bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
Makes 2 loaves.
