Honey Gingerbread



You can make gingerbread so many ways it's hard to keep track of them all. But, this is one of the more traditional gingerbread recipes. You can serve it warm with a little whipped cream. Yum!

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp ginger
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp cloves
2 Tbsp cinnamon
2 eggs
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup mild honey
1 cup sour cream

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease and flour 8"x8" pan.

Mix together flour, ginger, baking, soda, salt and spices.

Beat eggs then add brown sugar, honey and sour cream in that order.

Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture; Beat smooth.
Pour into 8x8 pan

Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
