About BakingDesserts.com
I think I started baking when I was about 13 years old. Chocolate Cakes, Chocolate Chip Cookies and Christmas Cookies were my standards back then. I could usually make someone in the family happy by making one of those yummy desserts.
My collection of recipes has expanded greatly over the years. And, when I look at my note cards, recipe file boxes and folders bursting with recipes, I can see somewhat of a pattern. The time I have available to do my baking has dimished greatly as I've gotten older. Working full-time and commuting 3 hours a day forced me to seek out and use quick and easy recipes I know will make delicious desserts that my husband and family will like.
Oh, there are times when I can spend a few hours working through some complicated dessert recipe. But usually, on top of my on-going quest to find recipes that have 6 or fewer ingredients, I look for recipes that can be prepared in just a few minutes. (This, of course, does not include my yearly Christmas Cookie marathon. At times, I've taken to using a couple of days of vacation time to get through all the batches of Christmas Cookies I need to bake and send to my family all over the country.)
I love to bake. As corny as it sounds, I find it to be very relaxing. Even if I don't have a lot of time, I can take a few minutes and prepare something delicious. Unless you're some French pastry chef, baking is not that difficult or complicated.
At BakingDesserts.com I've put together some of my favorite recipes, so that even if you have a busy schedule, you can also bake some delicious desserts. You can have some fun and surprise the family, even if you don't have a lot of time. Everyone is so busy these days and it's difficut to find time in your hectic schedule to do any kind of baking. But, I've tried to find some of my easiest recipes and include them here. You can use them to make some really tasty desserts in no time at all.
So, why not give one of our recipes a try.
And, just have fun.
